I am an abstract artist based on the Mornington Peninsula, with a formal background in graphic design and over 20 years of experience working in the advertising industry as an art director, designer, and photographer. My recent move from the city to the Peninsula with my husband has had a profound and positive influence on my creativity. The natural surroundings and strong sense of community have deeply connected me to my environment in ways I had never experienced before.

Art has always been central to who I am. From an early age, I was fascinated by colour and form, constantly drawing and experimenting with creative expression. Throughout my life, I have been driven by an innate need to create and to explore new ways of communicating through visual art.

In recent years, I have turned my focus to painting as a deeply personal and expressive practice. This renewed sense of purpose has inspired my ambition to transition from a commercial artist to a full-time fine artist in the near future.

My painting technique draws influence from both street art and my design background. I combine brushwork, masking, and spray paint with clean edges, grids, and geometric forms—merging spontaneity with structure. This disciplined and meticulous process requires patience and precision, but the reward lies in the creation of a well-crafted and considered piece.
